6th Street Bridge

On Tuesday January 26, just hours before the iconic 6th Street Bridge (Sixth Street Viaduct) was to be torn down, Joseph and I spent some time taking photos and videos to document the bridge in it's final hours.

"On Tuesday night, scores came out to bid farewell to the crumbling span as it's scheduled to close Wednesday for demolition. But the crowd grew rowdy shortly after 8 pm, when more than 100 people had gathered on the iconic span. At least 20 Los Angeles police officers responded to oust the crowd from the bridge."

Unfortunately, I couldn't make it in time for the meet up. The bridge had already been closed when I arrived at 10 pm. Police officers patrolled and guarded the area surrounding the bridge. Luckily I brought my drone with me so I was able to take photos and videos from the air.
